Remembering Steve Jobs

If you don't get married, you will be questioned.
If you don't have kids, you will be questioned.
If your kids go to n number of classes, you will be questioned.
If your kids don't go to any classes, you will be questioned.
If you are unemployed, you will be questioned.
If you are employed, you will be questioned.
If you go right, you will be questioned.
If you go left, you will be questioned.
If you do something you will be questioned.
If you do nothing you will be questioned.

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.  Don't be trapped by dogma-which is living with the results of other people's thinking.  Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice.  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

The above paragraph...  I am not that profound to say something that is highly inspiring.  It was by  Steve Jobs. I  like the quote.  I like it more when he says "intuition".

At this juncture, I would like to let you know I have three ambitions/goals/dreams.
  1. To write life history of Swamy Ramanuja in my very own words in Tamil
  2. To write life history of Steve Jobs in my very own words in Tamil
  3. To work/volunteer on Capitol Hills
Part of my first dream came true last year when I wrote a play for Swamy Ramanuja's 1000th Birth Anniversary.
In order for my third dream to materialize,  I require a likable President.
About the second dream.....I have to write, I should write, I will write....only I don't know when.

I write or not, I keep thinking about  Steve Jobs so very often.   Thinking about him involves Thanking him too.  He has brought the world closer.  Actually, he has brought the world to iPhone.  My interests, my life, my everything is on iPhone.  I get my news(Indian/American/World) from my iPhone.  I listen to songs(Indian/American) on iPhone.  I read books, magazines(Indian/American) on iPhone.  I get to chat/talk with my family and friends on iPhone.  I get to listen to interesting Podcasts on iPhone. I get my coffee on iPhone...not really.    If it not for the iPhone, hmmm.......I don't know.  Google, the search giant, was working on Android since 2005.  But they discarded everything and went back to square one after Steve Jobs introduced iPhone in 2007.   If Steve Jobs had not invented iPhone we would have been using....

If Steve Jobs had not invented iPhone, the world would have been a better place, there would be more human interactions, we would spend more time with family etc. etc. are some of the views I came across a few days ago.  You can use a matchstick to light a lamp or fire a forest.  If you ask me I use my iPhone in moderate.  I never use my iPhone while grinding/brewing/making coffee.  Everything has a downside. For instance, I go to Corelle shop, I get captivated looking at the cookware and I buy one or two.  Now, the downside of buying cookware is...I have to cookЁЯШЕЁЯШАЁЯША But in reality, cooking is not a downside.  I cook to eat, I cook to keep yourself hale and hearty.   I use my phone to keep myself happy and energized.

Likewise, I become happy and energized whenever I see Steve Jobs(pictures/photos/images).  In my house, I have hung a picture of Steve Jobs in a room where I spend most of my time - Sujatha's kitchen.   The picture says "Imagine, Create, Persevere".  In order to achieve my second dream, I have to imagine, create and perSEVERE.
